I haven't written anything about the 2008 Phillies (yet), but this is the first Phillies World Series related post.
After the Phillies won the World Series, for the most part, celebrations were orderly, but there was a scene of a group of over zealous celebratory fans who flipped a car over--why they would do that, I don't know. It was on the news, live and taped, and apparently it was also on Youtube.

Today's Philadelphia Daily News has a Page 5 article about the owner of the car, and his polite attempts to have those who enjoyed his car being trashed pay for the repair.

Apparently, he's done pretty well with it. He create a blog site called

and according to the article, in 10 days he's raised $3,800.
Check it out.
